There is much more to explore about Christian mysticism.  Below I have included more resources to further explore Christian mystic writings and culture.

Further Resources:

Names of Some Well-Known Christian Mystics:
St. Francis of Assisi, St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, Thomas à Kempis, Evelyn Underhill,  Thomas Merton, C.S. Lewis

Great Mystic Classics:
Dark Night of the Soul by St. John of the Cross
The Interior Castle by St. Teresa of Avila
The Imitation of Christ by Thomas à Kempis
The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis

Other Contributions to Christian Mysticism:
My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers
- This book is often considered THE handbook for beginning the mystic life as a Christian
The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan
- This book is one of the greatest classics in all Christianity, it is a fantasy allegory of the Journey

A very helpful resource I’ve found for reading texts has been the Christian Classic Etheral Library, it provides free access to several texts including one of my favorites, The Cloud of Unknowing. http://www.ccel.org/
